We’re proud to announce that Cinch has been named to Forbes Asia’s 100 to Watch 2025 list — one of only 14 companies in Singapore to be recognised.
Now in its fifth year, the Forbes Asia 100 to Watch list highlights emerging companies across the Asia-Pacific region that are redefining industries through innovation and impact.
Nominees are evaluated on market potential, business model, growth track record, and contribution to their region. For Cinch, this recognition affirms the progress we’ve made since our founding in 2022 — and the mission that drives us forward.
Rethinking Technology Ownership
From day one, our belief has been simple:
-
Access shouldn’t be locked behind upfront costs or rigid contracts.
-
Devices shouldn’t go obsolete after one owner.
-
Technology shouldn’t cost the earth.
With our Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) model, Cinch provides individuals and businesses in Singapore and Malaysia with flexible access to smartphones, laptops, tablets, and more. Customers can subscribe, upgrade, or buy later — while we ensure devices remain in circulation longer through refurbishment, repair, and recycling.
Building for Affordability and Sustainability
The rising costs of personal devices make affordability more important than ever. At the same time, e-waste continues to be a pressing challenge for the region. Cinch tackles both problems:
-
Affordable subscriptions lower the financial barrier to owning tech.
-
Circularity ensures devices are refurbished, repaired, and reused, reducing waste and extending their lifespan.
In April 2025, we secured $28.8 million in debt and equity funding, led by Monk’s Hill Ventures with participation from Z Venture Capital and 1982 Ventures. This investment is helping us scale our services and accelerate our vision for more accessible, sustainable technology.
What This Recognition Means for Cinch
Being named to Forbes Asia’s 100 to Watch isn’t just an accolade — it’s a sign that our mission resonates beyond our own community. It validates that affordability, accessibility, and sustainability are not competing goals, but can be achieved together.
We’re deeply grateful to our customers, team, and partners for making this possible. The journey to redefine how Asia experiences technology is only just beginning.
